After spending long hours at the coast searching for that second dream orb Selina figured she should try and search in a place where she and her team would be at a better advantage, and what better for a feraligatr than a mangrove forest? With Snow and Pippin safely tucked away in their pokeballs where they could come to no harm in the dense forest, she had perched herself on Bruno's back and was preparing to depart when a voice called at her to wait.

Turning to identify the source of the call she spotted another young redhead running towards her, waving. She introduced herself as Whiskey, not giving Selina the chance to ponder what an odd name that was for anyone to have, and asked if she could have a lift through the mangroves as well.

Selina shrugged with a smile and scooted further up her feraligatr's neck to make room, "Hop on!"

They had traversed through the murky waters for only a few minutes when Whiskey asked if Selina wouldn't mind her taking out one of her dogs to help search for an orb. Once again, Selina told her that was fine. What never occurred to her was to ask what kind of dog it was.

Not two seconds later Selina heard the telltale sounds of a pokeball releasing it's inhabitant and then all hell broke loose. Bruno went berserk beneath her, suddenly thrashing and roaring from deep in his throat- a truly terrifying, guttural sound- as he thrashed int he water, trying to crane his head backwards as his gaping jaws parted time and time again to snap shut inches from Selina's foot. She tried desperately to sooth her frantic companion and when nothing seemed to be working she turned to shout an apology back at Whiskey. That was when she saw the dog. It was a manectric. No wonder Bruno was going insane, he hadn't been able to act sane in the presence of a manectric since a vicious pair of them had almost killed him as a baby.

Opening her mouth to tell Whiskey to quickly put her dog back in it's pokeball she was cut short as Bruno gave a massive lurch, sending them all toppling into the churning water. Upon re-surfacing Selina fully expected Bruno to be ripping he dog limb from limb but what she saw was an even more terrifying sight. Another massive feraligatr- darker in color than Bruno but just as large, had emerged from the water and was engaging her gatr in a ferocious battle.

Thinking quickly she turned and swam as quickly as possible toward the nearest clump of mangrove roots, stopping when she came face-to-face with the indigo glow of an orb. Go figure she'd run into one now of all times. She didn't linger to think on it, snatching the orb up and climbing onto the root before turning and reaching out for Whiskey's arm as the woman scrambled after her. Behind them she heard a sickening twack as Bruno's tail met with the solid hide of the other feraligatr, sending the beast reeling away with a tremendous splash.
